hello all, i had a little red blood this morning while wiping, i am 6 week and 5 days pregnant, i am so scared as I have had two miscarriages in the past and they both started with spotting then the heart beat stopped...
I am going to see my doctor tomorrow morning to see if there is anything that he can do for me, has anybody been in the same position? What did the doctor do for you?

I'm so sorry, you must be very worried after two miscarriages.
Remember that a lot of people have some light bleeding and everything turns out ok. If it is only a little bit, it is more likely to be alright.
All the doctor can do for you is give you a scan and let you know if the pregnancy has ended or not. Really you need to be scanned as soon as possible. If you are in the UK, get referred to the EPU at your local hospital, or ring them direct.

Fingers crossed that everything will be fine for you.

Hi,

I had a tiny bit of blood at 7 weeks, again at 10 weeks.

I'm now 16 weeks.

I have had two miscarriages in the past and know exactly how you must be feeling.

Seeing the blood each time made me adamant I would lose this baby but the scan at 12 weeks showed a healthy baby.

Try to stay calm but there isn't really anything anyone can say to stop you worrying - I still worry now lol

Hi, i have just come back from my gp for a similar thing. basically i had sex yest & straight away i bled, but just a small amount. it cleared up almost straight away but this morning when i wiped there was a small bit of cm, kind of looked like a cotton thread. so i went to get some advice. The dr said im too early on for a scan (5w 3d) but that he didnt think there was a prob. He said if its a misscarriage then ill basically hav a preiod & that'll b that. So i think in ur case spotting is ok, but if it turns heavier like a period or with cramps then maybe worry. xx

hey all, thanks for the advice. just got the talk to midwife at the local hospital as the epu is closed its day bank holiday they said that i will have to go to A and E if it gets any worse.... or wait till tomorrow to contact the epu. honestly i am really really scared, i am worried that history is repeating its self.....

I would feel the same way, but you can't do anything other than try to relax, rest, drink plenty of water, and have hope. Really hoping the best for you, hon! I hope the bleeding goes away and everything's fine... The one thing I can think of asking about is whether you could have low progesterone and could they test for that and consider giving you progesterone (I think it's usually a suppository or cream). Good luck...

Hi, i'm really sorry you're going through this it's such a horrible time. I'm also experiencing some red bleeding, it was just spotting but this morning it was a little heavier than that. I've also been told that my HCG levels are really low so it doesn't look good for me but i've read up a LOT on bleeding and it seems really common with most people going on to have a happy and healthy nine months! When I miscarried a couple of months ago it started as a light flow and within a few hours was like a heavy period so the fact that it is just light spotting is a good sign.

I know it's impossible not to worry but fingers crossed for both of us that things will work out fine, sending positive thoughts your way!

im sure your fine i would just go to the ER right now. instead of waiting for tomorrow. if you cant stay off your feet.
