a little worried. help?

the past hour or so i have been getting cramps or braxton hicks every like 10-15 minutes and they last like 30 sec to 1 min. then a few minutes ago i got a sharp pain in my lower back. im incredibly uncomfortable all of a sudden.

should i be aware of anything or look for anything to watch or be worried about?

just keep an eye on them if they get really close and last longer call your midwife, also if baby is still active etc then you should be fine, just keep an eye on things and call your midwife in the morning and let her know xx

This happened to me..exactly as you described. i waited until the morning as i could feel baby but shouldn't have. By the time i went in i was not in any pain yet but was somehow 5cm dilated. The baby was born and spent 10 weeks in hospital. Usually you'll find they ease off but if they don't, you have to be seen before it's too late to stop the contractions. From 4cm they say there is no going back.
