I had a D&C scheduled for 9:00am this morning...which I have to admit, I was fairly nervous about because I was going to do it in the doctor's office and without anesthia (only a valium IV drop).
About 8:30pm last night, the cramps started...and the rest is history. The cramps were stronger than any AF ones I had ever had, but bearable with two Tylenol. I got up a couple times throughout the night, but the pain certainly did not *keep* me awake the entire time.
We went to the doctor's this morning and he said I have passed 80% and that the remaining 20% should pass through soon. NO D&C!
While I am sad about the loss of our child, I am very thankful my body did the work on its own. Now I know it was definitely natural selection, God's way of telling me this child was not meant to be born. The natural M/C will make it easier for me to come to peace with what has happened.
