Sorry if this is TMI but I just wondered...
I had a bad miscarriage on Friday - I say bad because I passed out a lot, hospitalised and had blood transfusions etc. I'm severely anaemic but starting to feel a little stronger now. I'm on iron etc.
Anyway today I've started notice that when I pass clots, they smell strange. Upon googling (as you do!) some say its infection, others say (especially with MMC like mine) that its just an old blood smell (its been in there fore 7+ weeks which makes sense). I've no temp or signs of infection currently.
So I'm just curious really whether clots etc smell strange or should I be worried?
I can't get a GP appointment in days and we were supposed to be going for some r&r with my parents by the coast the day after tomorrow and now I'm worried about going......
