Ok so I stopped breastfeeding my son 4 weeks ago due to low supply and being put on strong antibiotics and today I'm the bath my I noticed a it of white liquid coming from my one nipple so me being me I began to squeeze my nipple and more and more was coming out and the same with my other nipple!

Could it be possible that I'm still producing milk?

And if I was to try and put ds to my nipple think I could successfully breastfeed or shall I not bother?

I say go for it! Let him nurse as much as possible and he could boost your supply. Look into taking suppliments like fenugreek and that will help your supply as well.

Even if you still have to supplement breast milk is always good for baby!

I would definitely give it a go. If he will latch on then try to feed him as often as possible to encourage your supply, and things such as fenugreek and oatmeal are good for boosting supply as well. Good luck! :)

So I tried putting ds to my breast and he has a suck on my nipple the pulled away crying I tried a few times after giving him a bit of milk from a bottle and he still pulled away he wasn't impressed so think I may have to leave it I was thinking of maybe trying to express but is it worth the effort?

Your baby is still very young. If you didn't want to stop nursing, you can still successfully start back up. Look up relactation.

Yes expressing is worth it, give it a try. I expressed for 5 weeks then my son finally latched on. Hes five months now and goes between breast and bottle (of expressed milk) xxd

Expressing is definitely worth the effort in my humble opinion. :)

Ok ladies I'm going to do it I'm going to express and my OH is fully supporting me which is a surprise but the formula milk isn't agreeing with my little boy in going to boots tomorrow and getting myself the modela swing breast pump as they have a big baby event on atm and I'm going to get some fenugreek from Holland and Barrett I just hope and pray he latches onto me

It is still possible though you'll probably have a really low supply for a start, building it up by expressing frequently will really help. You'll definitely still have to supplement with formula until it's up to normal. It's worth doing though, if you can!

I stopped BF when my LO was 26wks, she's now 31wks and I'm definitely still producing.

Tatse your milk - see if it's salty. Sophie refused to nurse for 3 days when a baby, then screwed up her face when she did. I tasted my milk and it went all salty. I hand expressed some out and the next lot was fine
