So, I am sooo used to lying on my tummy for sleeping.
Obviously I still can because I don't really have a bump, but it feels like the sides of my stomach are sore?
Has anyone else had this?
Secondly, I've been craving ham and cheese bagels, chicken burgers and apple juice EVERYDAY. Its bad, lol. I'm hungry 247, its craaazy :p
Anyone else have any cravings?
And thirdly, I have a male family doctor. I am going to see him tomorrow and I would really be a lot more comfortable with a lady doctor or an OB for my pregnancy.
If I ask him, does he have to refer me to one? Just wondering.
Thanks girls :) hope your all doing well<3

Okay :haha:

1. It's just your uterus you can feel as it's being a bit squashed!

2. YES! Pickled onions, pickled onion crisps, vinegar - I would sit and sniff it! Lol and just any thing acid-like! And white chocolate :)

3. Yeah he can :) I'm not bothered any more, I had 2 men in theatre with my legs up in stirrups haha!

Yeahp that's just your belly changing! I noticed around 20 weeks (when I had to make sure I was on my side and not 1/2 on my stomach like I normally slept) My shoulders started getting sore! It's like they weren't used to supporting the weight or something it was weird.. and it sucked. I had to switch positions constantly.

I actually didn't crave anything! And I'm really sad about it because I was looking forward to those crazy "i have to go eat this right now" cravings. :haha:
I did like wonka's shockers candy, and there was a point where I really wanted warm apple cider a few times, but they weren't even too serious I've craved something a lot worse before not being pregnant!

When I first had to pick a doctor I made SURE it was lady doctor. Due to things in my past I wanted to stay away from men doctors, and made sure that it wouldnt happen. But around week 26 I switched hospitals, and the new one I switched two had 3 doctors that all rotate, 2 females and 1 male. My sister personally had the male doctor before and she loved him, so I figured I'd give it a chance.. but he hasn't given me any exams or anything like that so I am a little nervous when that time comes! I personally am going to try to work through my anxiety and fears, but you should stick what you are comfortable with! If you want to stick with a female there is always a way to, and he definitely shouldn't take it personally if you ask him! It's his job to make you comfortable :flower:

ugh. i hate having to sleep on my back or sides now at 19 weeks. it sucks. :/
My number one craving has been french fries and milkshakes... together. and anything with chocolate and salt at the same time.
I have a male OB and he's AMAZING. It was awkward at first, but it was ok after a while. :)

I know how you feel. I'm a stomache sleeper and it hurts as well! I crave salt... Anything salty has become my best friend. As for an OB. If your in the US, look up local ob offices, and call around. Decide where you want to deliver, if you want a male or female, or both, what your comfortable with, etc.. You just call and ask if they are accepting new patients, tell them your expecting, and they take it from there! Congratulations btw. :flower:
