Last night I had a small stomach ache and I didn't think anything of it because I get them all the time.

But it never went away and started getting worse. After forty minutes of trying to calm my stomach down (i.e. hot towel, water, walking, laying down.) I woke up my OH bawling my eyes out saying I've never felt anything like this before. He rushed me to the hospital and it started getting worse by now I was literally screaming in pain.

I got to the ER and they sat me in the Triage room or whatever they call it and I kept saying, "Where's the damn nurse?" Over and Over again. Finally she comes and sends me up to the labor and delivery part of the hospital where they gave me a room.

I was still screaming my lungs out when they put me on the monitor. They tested for contractions and indeed they were contractions. The contractions were high and acting weird according to the doctor because they were constant and never stopped. They checked my cervix and I was dilated to 1. This was at midnight. When the doctor shoved her hand up there and that metal thing it hurt like bad. Plus the contractions together and a nurse poking me with a IV I was about to go haywire. They gave me some morphine to stop the contractions and said I would have to stay overnight. Everytime the morphine wore off the contractions started again. They finally gave me perkaset and I felt a lot better. This was at 2 in the morning. I tried to get some sleep but didn't fall asleep till about 5 in the morning. Then the nurses woke me up at 5:30 and I couldn't go back to sleep.

Today they drew my blood...again. They changed my IV like 5 times. They had me on the monitor constantly. I was stuck in the hospital room with my OH Bored out of my mind. They finally took me down to radiology to look at an ultrasound to see baby. She's healthy. She weighs 1 week less than she should so I'm a little worried there but that little bugger hasn't stopped kicking so I know she's healthy.

They came back and said that the test they gave me last night was positive for preterm labor. Nothing happened. Contractions left. Just a dull back ache and complete nausea. Had to pee....A LOT. Constantly. I couldn't even sleep without having to get up every 5 minutes. Gave me antibiotics for a possible urinary tract infection. Signed the discharge papers and it's now 2 PM and I'm finally in my own bed. Worn out. Tired. Scared. Nervous that the contractions will come back and I'll go into labor.

If I do go into Preterm labor I will be flighted out to Denver, CO where they have a better neonatal Premie baby care there :)

Wish me luck and hope that everything turns out fine. Baby hang in there just almost 13 weeks left :)
