I took medication to begin a miscarriage for my little one had failed to develop. We gave him/her lots of time, but for naught. It was so hard, and I was so utterly depressed. My friends were all pregnant, and we had been trying for quite some time.

Exactly a year from that day, I am due any day now, with a healthy little rainbow baby boy. What a difference a year makes.

I hope this can give some hope to women who are where I was a year ago. I was nervous throughout my early pregnancy, always waiting for the shoe to drop. It gets easier, I promise. Each week that goes by, you take a bit of a deeper breath. Each month that goes by, you allow yourself to get more excited. You never forget, but you can move on. I hope all of you have a success story to report in your future too.

I know how you feel and think it's great that the ladies here know that there can be success after all the sadness and heartbreak....

best wishes

At this time last year, I too had taken medication to start the miscarriage process, as our little bean made it to 7w but didn't get a yolk sac. I was terrified of that :bfp: in August, as I was afraid of another m/c. When I was originally due, I cried a lot about the baby I didn't have, despite finding out that I was pregnant again. It's hard to grieve over a m/c, and finding out there was another LO on the way... I was still terrified about losing my LO.

And here I am now at 32+2, on a somewhat busy day for LO, looking forward to meeting my rainbow baby soon. :)

There is hope as long as you believe in it!
