aahh heartburn!!:-(

hey!..im weeks 19 and have really bad heartburn!!!does anyone know to get rid of it?

I use Gaviscon...I prefer the tablets, but medicine works better and lasts longer but tastes like crap!

Its stopped working for me now though, so I just suffer.

Pansylove reccomended me getting Gavilast, apparently its really good, ive just not had time to get my hands on some yet.

Theres also rennies, the fruit ones are lovely....Id eat them like sweets

I had it last week and it was horrible! I used gaviscon which worked ok. And its better to stay sitting up too. Hope you feel better soon!

My doctor told me to take pepcid. I can also use mylanta when needed. I would check with your doctor though.

I hate heartburn
I think that medicines vary in the UK and US but I use mylanta for instant relief and pill wise I'll use Zantac or chew on some tums, even though they make me gag. You know what else works though? You can eat some ice cream or drink some milk! Hope it gets better!

aside from medicines like gaviscon, I found that milk sometimes helped to make it a bit better x

Ive got 500ml of that stuff in aniseed flavour. Its horrible but its what the doctor prescribed me so i cant really complain as it was free anyway. I take rennies or tums if im out cause i keep them in my bag (so sad i know!).

Ahh no wonder! That stuffs horrible! I have to work upto taking it every time. And its so thick it goes down really slowly and makes it even worse to take

I've been living off of tums for the past few weeks. I have to keep myself from popping them like candy because the package says don't take more than 7 in a day. I had to switch to extra strength this past week though because the heartburn is waking me up in the middle of the night.
