Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
We are investigating a mysterious GI Ailment on my 12 month old.
He had an abdominal xray yesterday at 4:40pm. As we were leaving the xray tech said, "I'm going to show the xray to the radiologist right away. Call your doctor tomorrow to make sure they get the results."
Well, I haven't heard anything but I usually am of the mind that if something is found that is serious, they call you right away. I also don't want to pester.
Do you think it was odd that she said this? I know no one can say for sure. Waiting on test results is a pain!
I know most of you ladies are from the UK. From what I've seen on here (and I may be wrong), our healthcare tends to all happen a bit quicker than in the UK but the techs words made me paranoid. I'm sure she didn't mean to! There is a portal where you can check results if nothing is wrong and I'm checking that frequently to see if the results are in.
