My son is 2 months old and we do both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, his weight gain has been very good he is 5.2 kilos, he had some issues with diarrhea but we switched him to lactose free formula and he got better, the problem now is he recently developed a habit of screaming, kicking, pinching, pulling away when I try to feed him wether it be a bottle or the breast, h doesnt do it all the time, maybe only once or twice a day he will just refuse and fight it until he eventually caves, but other times in the day he takes the bottle and shows no signs of a problem,Could this be a case of acid reflux? also he spits up maybe 3 times a day most of the time it is small though and doesnt seem to faze him, I just dont know what to do I tried switching nipples etc also this happens at the same time every day, early morning?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :flower:

Could be trapped wind Hun. Does he burp/fart well? Maybe infacol or something will help?
I would talk to ur HV or Doctor see why they suggest. You can get gaviscon for babies if it is acid reflux.

My LO I think has acid reflux she will be laying there and suddenly bring up acid, she swallows it again though and her eyes go watery as it shocks her and prob tastes horrid :-( so I'm going to dr monday first to see what they suggest.

If your LO doesn't bring up anything in the moth it may not be reflux jut wind as that can be really uncomfortable for them. Maybe your LO I just a sicky baby?

mine was doing the same thing and being fussy/gassy during and after every feed and seeming to strain like he needed to poop. i switched him to soy and he is doing perfectly again.

Could be silent reflux, my LO has it and he use to fuss like that at the bottle. Since being on Zantac he is so much better! We also have him on Soy formula because of horrible gas pains which we are thinking he may be lactose intolerant.
