Advice appreciated

Max is 8 weeks old and has always been a bit fussy on the bottle. He often takes his first 2-3 oz well and then has a break and fusses over the last oz or so.

Lately I have the odd day (today being one of them) where he just won't take more than about 3oz at a feed and if I try to feed his more he just gets upset. He has no wind and is content without hunger signs (also has suddenly started sucking his thumb all the time!)

Does anyone else have days like this where they feed less than normal? Yesterday for example he took a good 5oz at each bottle.

Adults have days where they want to eat more or less than usual, so it would make sense that babies and children have these days too. As long as he is having plenty of wet and dirty nappies and gaining weight as he should then my advise is to just feed him how much he wants, when he wants. xxx
