Advice - brown spotting after d&c

I had a d&c a week last Friday and had minimal bleeding for a day then nothing for 5 or 6 days. However on Friday I noticed brown discharge but only a little and when I wipe (sorry for tmi!!) I know this is old blood but will it just stop? Should I go to the doctors- or just wait another few days and see? Doctor who did d&c said should expect bleeding for up to two weeks but feel this is strange as I had no bleeding for a number of days?

I am only on day 4 after D&C but had no bleeding for 1.5 days after then I had red spotting and light bleed yesterday today it is mostly brown spotting have been told it is all normal unless it becomes extremly heavy or smelly

I spotted brown for a few weeks after my D&C. What you've written sounds fine to me, but if you're really worried about it, you can always call and describe your symptoms to the nurse on call and see what she thinks. From one woman to another, though, I think it's normal. It might continue for days or weeks more.
