Advice Leapad/Vtech

I have a family member wanting to buy my youngest a present, she's 3 and I was thinking along the lines of a leapad or vtech tablet or the vtech cyber pocket...she uses our iphones but if they are a waste of money I'd rather not bother. Does your LO have something similar are they worth it or is she too young?

my DS was 3 yesterday and we got him a leappad - i was a bit worried because he plays on mine and OHs phones so thought it might be a bit too easy for him but he loves it! he sat with me for 30 mins earlier (unheard of!!) playing it together and hes now sitting playing it with OH!

im not sure about the ones you have mentioned tho but thought id give my opinion!

Ive a family member wanting to get LO something like this....in all honesty I played with the leappad 2 in mothercare and thought it was quite slow to load and that the instructions might be quite hard for a 3 year old think it'd maybe be ok if it was already in a game ready to go for him

I wanted to get Tegan one last year but we got her an iPod touch instead because she was used to our iPhones by then. She loves her iPod
