Hello ladies, in the last week my little one has seemed to have changed to a crying baby, what am i doing so wrong!!!
He cries after i have feed him, and he has got all his wind up, doesnt want more milk, and i have tried water, we have tried him on infacol and gripe water too, feel so helpless, do you think i should change his milk or the bottles, were on sma gold at present and toppee tippee bottles, im so tired and upset all the time, i feel like im a crap mum!!! has anyone change to the aptimal milk? i know its not colic, cause its not all the time, you can settle him, then 20 mins later he will cry, and its not every feed, i dont know if hes just trying to get my attention??? I Have heard that doc brown bottles are good?? any ideas and help would be grateful

Mmmm i would say it sounds like his found his lungs and maybe wants abit of attention, but if you think his its milk, maybe buy a few cartoons of another brand and see how they go?
It seems a few pople on here, who have there babe son sm seem to have problems, with there bbaies liking the milk, but i would try something else, hollie is on cow and gate, we tried aptimil and she didnt like it, hope i may of helped? xxx

thanks we have got dentitox so were going to try that first i think xxx feel really down

Has he definately got all his wind up? Is he figeting around when he is crying? I changed to Dr Browns because the Tommee Tippee bottles I found rubbish for keeping air out of the milk as he drank it. It is bloody expensive changing to them though so I would just get 2 bottles at first if you do try it and see how he gets on with them.

Also, it could be a growth spurt if he's only just started doing it, they have them around 6 weeks and someone said to me that some babies get 'growing pains'. Brady was a bit unsettled when he had a growth spurt at 4 weeks, eating more, sleeping a lot but also just whingy and clingy.

Anthony has been doing this some in the past week. Since we upped his feed to 4 oz he has calmed down A LOT. Could he be hungry still after a feed??

Maybe he wants to continue sucking after a feed? At your LO's age, Ruby would have her dummy for a little while after her bottle.

could be that he is refluxing some of the milk back up and its causing him some discomfort even if he isnt vomiting they can have silent reflux
