Advice needed tommee Tippee teats

Hi ladies I'm a bit confused about which teats to use, could you advise me on this? I have the Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles with 0mths teats. My question is what's the difference between the 0mth and 0 mth vari flow teats? Is one better than the other?

The vari flow is an x shape, the idea is the harder they suck the more they get. I used them with my son but found you have to keep an eye on them because they have a tendency to split which means it comes out too fast and baby can choke a bit. We swapped back to the numbered teats after a bit because it kept happening
