ok so ill start from the start when i had my lil boy i wanted to bf but wasnt show how to but was given a bottle to give him :(

so whlst in the hospital he was on aptimil 1 was only in for a couple of hours after havin him so he didnt really have tht much milk

when i came home i gave him aptimil comfort but then found he was havin at least 10 dirty an i mean dirty nappies a day i wot o into detail as i no ppl dnt like to read about it when he was 9 days old i decided to take him the hospital as he wasnt really takin he feeds an he was really hot they did a load of test an kept him in for 6 days (worst time of my life) they did a lumbapunture twice they new he werent well because he just layed there an didnt even cry we got all the test bac an it turned out 2 be rota virus ( but was the worst case they had seen in a baby so young the advised me tht his nappies would still be the same for about 2weeks as this was the virus leavin his system when he was about 8 weeks old he started doin his dirty business every other day but its was really sloppy an most of the time ended up eveywere lol

hes now 12 weeks an 3 days old an he is still the same there is no shape in his nappy its always really sloppy iv told my hv an gp but they say hes fine but deep dwn i think there is something wrong with him an i dunno who to ask for advice i wondered if any of your children are the same or were at his age, my daughter was the opsite she would scream the place dwn when she was havin a bowel movement and i kept tellin them her dad had something wrong with his bowel when he was born i kept hittin a brick wall untill one day when i had enough am demanded this wasnt right they finally did tests an it was found tht she had a small opein to her rear passage an give it time it would correct itself which it did when she was nearly 1

pls can n e 1 tell me wht a 12 wk old poo should be like sloppy hard watery etc an wht or were shall i go cos no one seems to help in the nhs side of things thks for reading this sorry its long xxxx:kiss:

It may be a milk protein issue? I don't know brands of formula over there maybe ask about milk free or hypoallergenic formula.

Obviously something wasnt right in the early weeks.

You said your LO is now 12wks - Anna would poo once a day and it would be a really watery, mustardy korma type poo with no hardness to it at all - it would skoosh out of her- is it like that?? If so, that is perfectly normal!!!!

emma i found u lol aint got a clue how to use this tho lol xxx

My Lo's poo is runny all the time and like a mustardy colour to it. He will normally go everyday, sometimes twice a day. Is you little one still on Aptamil? That's what we have Ethan on and it is supossed to be the closest to breastmilk so their nappies will tend to be runnier like that of a breastfed baby. Sometimes in our case when he poos it will run out of the nappy. I think if It's green and foamy that can be a sign of an allergy or lactose intolerance! xx

Exactly the same as Ethan's! You described it better than me, lol!x

I have heard if it is green and frothy (I have never seen what is meant by that but..) it can be a sign of lactose intolerant (as Carrie said)
That has happened to three friends of mine and they are all on the WySoy??
I was really worried Ella would be constipated on Formula when I went from BF at almost 3 weeks to Powder but luckily her poo hasn't changed - still loose and mustard, even has the little 'seeds' in it that you would expect from breastfed baby.
She goes every day regular as clockwork (shame it is 5am!!!)

:haha:

:haha: 5am!! Sorry, that has only ever happened once with Anna and I am so glad its not a regular thing! Annas are slowly starting to get harder with the weaning so we no longer have any explosive leaky ones!:flower:
