We've been ttc since jan 09, I had my 21day blood results today which were normal, which was weird because ff reckons i ov on cd19! Can anyone help explain this?

Anyway, my oh is doing his sample on mon, the doc has asked if I want to be booked in for a lap and dye now, or wait till she refers us to a fertility specialist.

I'm pretty unclear what it is and if i def. need it. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks xx:thumbup:

To be honest, Lap and Dye is only useful if you suspect Endometriosis which is basically what it's used for, for the most part. If not, then a simple HSG will check if your tubes are open.

Its basically where they shoot die into your tubes and use an Xray to see if they make it all the way through. Less invasive than a Lap. I would also think they would try this first and then do the Lap maybe at a later time if they had to.
