Advice on ovary pain

Has anyone ever had ovary pain immediately after a period? My left ovary is really sore - like a cyst/ovulation but I'm not due to ovulate for another week. Also, my period was four days late but there was no pain until afterwards. My temperature hasn't gone down but pg test is negative (and I had a period...) Help!

You can ovulate early even right after af so do an opk. You do get cramps like that when pg so if i was u as i had something simikar i did a hpt a week later ti rule it out. If all the tests are neg speak to a doc in case it's a cyst

Sounds like a possible cysts. I'm sorry you're hurting and hope you feel better soon.

I sometimes get pelvic pain/twitching after my period too- my OBGYN even ordered an ultrasound bc I had concern. They said blood flow and tissue looked fine. The pain can happen as your body prepares to ovulate. You've heard of mittelschmerz?
