Can anyone please tell me this is going to be ok???? I had 3 early miscarriages and with this pregnancy I have finally made it to 8 weeks and 5 days. At 7 / 8 weeks I was having very strong sickness symptoms but in the lst few days it has eased right off. I still can't drink tea & coffee only water but the wooziness and feeling of utter horribleness has almost completely gone. I know I should be grateful but i'm worried to death.
Yesterday when I went from a sitting position to standing my abdomen went really tight like i couldn't stretch quick enough to stand up and it hurt. I am really worried something is wrong but know that professionals will probably just say - no blood, no major cramping - get over it woman!!
I am going out of my mind with worry and wish I felt ill again (I know it's mad!) I'm driving my husband sick with worry as he never bargained on this amount of worry at pregnancies and so I feel bad for that too. Someone please tell me it's going to be ok

It is possible that you are just having a few good days with no sickness. If you are really worried I would get in touch with your doc to schedule an appt.

Thanks, and yes I think that might be the case. I did call the hospital today and they were very reassuring, I also got a doppler today and heard the heartbeat so things seem to be ok. Obviously Splodge just felt like giving me a break! LOL

Good idea to get a doppler. Now you can relax :)

One possibility....usually most symptoms are related to the higher levels of progesterone in preganncy. Around 9ish weeks, the placenta begins taking over the production of progesterone (previously it was the corpus luteum doing the work). It's only just begun the job, usually takes until around 13-14 weeks before it's completely switched, but things change. That's why many women see their m/s disappear at the end of the 1st tri, because the progesterone maintenance is different than it was in the beginning of pregnancy. So if you've hit that point where your baby's placenta is now doing the work, that might be all it is. :)

I had the same thing happen to me about 7 weeks. I go to the doctor every week for ultrasounds and seriously I cried all the way to the doctors office thinking everything was over only to see a healthy little peanut in there!

And I have the same thing constantly when getting up or quick movements causing sharp pulling pains, it's all normal. I know it is impossible to not worry about everything little thing after going through losses, just hang in there! :hugs:

Those tight ligaments that get pulled easy are always one of the first ways I know I'm definitely pregnant!! Painful, huh!!
