Hi, I thought Id post here as I know there are ladies on here who have a lot of knowledge on fertility issues etc.

So I had a mc 19 days ago, and just got a positive opk today, and we :sex: last night, and plan too tonight too. I usually get ov pains so hope I get these so should know for definate if I ovulate.

Now the issue is: I have PCOS and conceived DS on Clomid, triiger and progesterone ...... before him I ovulated on clomid but got af 4 days later, so suspected blighted ovum. We do not know the reason for my miscarriage at 13 weeks, although I lost the majority of the strong symptoms at 9 weeks ish.

Anyway, I had a letter to see the fertility clinic but need to ring Monday to book ....... so was going to ask them if I should make an emergency appointment to ask my doctor for progesterone just incase I did ovulate, and the progesterone could save the pregnancy if that was the previous issue.
Surely it wouldnt hurt, and I should be seeing the specialist soon anyway, so then they can see what is happening, and if the progesterone is just preventing af ....... or a mc that would happen naturally.
I have heard you should have pg within 48 hours of ovulating for it too work, so this would roughly be Monday/Tuesday.

Do you think this sounds like a good plan? I will mention it to the specialists when I ring to book Monday and it will be there decision ...... just trying to figure out if its something they would consider or not based on my history.

Also ..... if I dont ovulate and got it wrong, could the progesterone stop me ovulating and cause more harm than good?

Thanks

yep, if you havent O'd yet, it'll stop you Oing as it'll trick your body into thinking you're post O. But theres no harm in asking if they'll do it :)

Thanks - I will do an opk today, but had quite a lot of ov pains yesterday afternoon, and just feel a bit tender around the ovary areas, I will ask them Monday anyway - but I think they may just say see what happens.
