Advice please - when can i TTC after Lap

Hi - i had a laparoscopy, dye test, hystercopy and helica ablation (burning off of endometriosis) last week on 19th July.
I have 3 stitches on my stomach which are healing nicely.
I was given no advice afterwards and not spoken to by the consultant but know from my notes there were no other problems found and all of the endo was removed.
As you can see from my signature, i ovulate in about 3 days time.

I am on antibiotics for an unrelated sinusitus infection also - amoxycillin
Do you think we can/ should TTC this month ??

I would think that you would be fine to ttc this month if the consultant didn't say not to.

I ttc the month I had a lap and dye. I was going to skip that month, but got my most positive opk ever, so decided to go for it. Really uncomfortable (stitches), but I did conceive and DS is now 18 months old.

I wouldn't BD this ovulation time. Recovery time is 2 weeks, no sex, lifting anything over 25 pounds, and exercise.

I've also had a lap. If they were trying to get it round this cycle they should've done it before last AF.

Actually sex at 2 weeks for me still hurt, I couldn't do certain positions.

I also recently had a lap in March and was not able to TTC that month. I did not heal as quickly it took about four weeks for my incisions to close up. I wouldn't recommend it like like armybrat84 said. My doc said no sex for two weeks or heavy lifting. Personally that one month break from TTC gave me the motivation and rejuvenation to continue in April. Hope this helps you.

I had my post op check 7 days after surgery, i was told no vbd, working out until then! At my appt he cleared me for activity cleared if I felt up for it!
