I had the implant put in and was told that it was more effective than a vasectomy, so thought i'd be pretty safe, 3 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. Turned out I was pregnant before they put it in and their pregnancy test didnt pick up on it. I'd do a pregnancy test and if its possible arrange to get the implant out asap. It doesn't do any serious damaage as it contains progestrgen (the hormon that increases babies growth) but its not good to keep it in there for long.

I haven't read this all, so sorry if i'm repeating, but if you look up the symptoms the implant can cause they can be very like pregnancy symptoms. It can even cause stretch marks and other things you wouldn't expect. To know for sure though test and maybe use condoms and the implant if you're really worried about getting pregnant? x

i had it fitted in october princess_x0 i havnt had a perioud tho.

it turned out that im not pregnant, so wa im gna do is wait till my boyfriend gets a proper job n we get a house together n then get my implant took out so hopefully that will be soon because we both want a baby together coz we have talked about it and stuff and i really do love him and i think we will both make boss parents. So unil we find a house and move in together and are comfortable in the house then il get the implant took out and then get preg.

But what i want to know is.. how long does it take were i can get pregnant after i have had the implant coz the nurse told me it takes a few week so my body can get back to normal.

Good luck for your future plans, but it depends from person to person, some people fall pregnant in a few days, some can take a while. Lots of luck xxx
