So yesterday I had my 18 week check up and All was well I knew before I went in as bubs is kicking away, brought my pee bottle in it was checked and all clear, BP is normal, heard Los HB with the Doppler which got kicked quite a few times :cloud9:
Then I got weighed and Iv only put on 2lbs even though as most of you have seen in my pics I have a huge bump lol and I have gone up from a 32B to 34D:wacko: I'm still under 8stn I'm 7stn 13lbs lol:haha: probably due to my lack of appetite.

Well after that I couldn’t really feel bubs I mean movement has been crazy the past couple of days and even in MW appointment as she was feeling the kicks and laughing, I think LO kicked 3times since that even with the odd prying poke which normally gets booted so I'm kind of worried.

Then last night my cousin got lost so we went to look for him and we were walking around our town for about half an hour and I got this stitch in my side but I ignored it and continued looking then it was like a really bad cramp which was spreading all down my back and sides. It was excruciating so I went home (mum said I was green and had to go) I thought I was going to faint it was soo bad! I went to bed and when I woke up it was gone

Any ideas on what it was??? Should I be concerned about lack of movement followed by this??

could be lying on a nerve, I had that a few times. And they do go quiet sometimes and make you crap yourself. Keep an eye on it and if your worried I am sure out of hours will help,. I ended up there once looking for baby to be checked and they used doppler and just as they did he moved! typical.

The pain could just be cos you are walking loads hun cos pregnanacy throws your centre of gravity off and can cause all sorts of aches and pains :hugs:
As for the weight thing, you should definitely try to eat more, especially things with a lot of carbs and stuff in, but try not to worry too much, up until about 16/17 weeks I had lost weight, and I hadn't even had ANY morning sickness so I have no idea why I lost it! But put on some now.. about a stone I think and as long as bubs is healthy then it's all good  xxx

Eat something high in calories and maybe have an energy drink.
It's what I was told to do before my 4d scan to get bubs awake and moving for the scan.
Once bubs has some energy (about 30-60 mins after you have the food/drink you should feel plenty of kicks.
I know it's easier said than done, but don't worry and try to relax. I had a bleed at 27 weeks and until I got to the hospital and heard his heartbeat I felt nothing. One I knew he was okay, he started kicking like mad. They know when you're stressed and it seems to make them stay still.

lol so my lo is trying to terrify me I was just on the fone to FOB and baby kicked once but it still reasurring. . . . Thank you :flower: Xoxo

nah dont be concerned its all fun part of pregnancy...i constantly got and still do get cramps when walking about... its all your ligaments stretching to make room for LO... As for the lack of movement babys need sleep aswell and often have quite days at the start where they are growing! as long as you feel some movement at some point i wouldnt worry! babys still very small atm :)

I wouldn't worry about the weight. I didn't even really start to show until 6 months, and it wasn't until then I really started to put on weight :) xx

i hardly gained a thing in my pregnancy
and i didn't show until about 24 weeks either
i wouldn't worry about weight gain hun
some people only carry water weight others
gain loads :hugs:

glad you're feeling better
try not to exercise tooooo much

xx

The pain could be round ligament pain, I had that around 17 weeks and it can be very scary :hugs:
Don't worry about not putting on enough, I didn't at first but now I am on track.
Hope you're feeling better.
x

I get stitches in my pelvis area if I walk too fast or too far. Maybe it's where baby is lying. If you have any concerns, ring your midwife. Better to be safe and reassured than drive yourself up the wall :)
