Hi girls,

Has anyone experienced no drop in temp as AF starts?, I had a short (3 1/2 days instead of the usual 5) but relatively normal AF this month. It finished yesterday and am now on CD5 but have yet to see my temp drop down.

I usually O on about CD12 so am a bit worried that is hasn't gone down yet.

Have you tested? Some times women do have what seems like a period when they're in early stages of pregnancy. I know of someone else on here who has just got her BFP. She had her AF and only tested as her temp hadn't dropped...

Hope you get your answer :dust:

Your temperature still dropped. Sometimes it doesn't drop to the cover line. I disagree with the two above. Don't waste a test lol.

I would get a cheap dollarstore test just to make sure, as some women do bleed around their "missed period". Sometimes it takes awhile for the temps to go down as they are usually quite crazy during AF xx

I think it's worth doing a test...ok it did drop a bit when you got your first day of light bleeding, but it went up again on your 3rd and 5th day of bleeding. FF says temps can stay high during your period due to left-over progesterone but I would've thought you'd start seeing a drop by now. If you have the patience it might be worth seeing what happens to your temp over the next 2-3 days then test if they still don't go down? Let us know x

The one time my temps were high from CD1-10 was when I had my first chemical, then they started dropping. I hope that's not the case for you though :(

They do say 18 temps above the coverline ususally means pregnancy- you've 17 temps above...

No, her coverline is 36.35 and her temps have been below coverline since 11 dpo.....

Your temps look normal to me - they are around the same as they were at the same point last cycle - below 36.4 anyway:flower:

She is still way above her coverline from last cycle? Her temps are still around 97.6-98.0, and her coverline last cycle was 96.9! That's a huge difference! xx

Thanks for all the advise girls, your great, even google didn't help me with this one!!!

I think I will wait to see what happens in the next day or two and then test if they haven't gone down.
