AF finally showing up??

Last week I posted asking at what point after a miscarriage you should see a doctor if no period. It has about 9 weeks and I have had NO signs of af showing up so I called the dr and made an appointment. Today when I went to the bathroom and wiped, there was a clear discharge with thin strings of red blood in it ... I have NEVER seen this before ... is this AF finally showing up??? I guess I need some reassurance because I'm very paranoid!!! Thanks

Hello, I am sorry for your loss. All I can tell you is what happened to me and I hope it helps a little.

I didn't get my period till nearly 10 weeks after a D&C in July 2008 for a missed miscarriage. When it did come the first one was shorter and lighter than usual. From then on it's gone back to normal and is regular again.

I found the wait really difficult. I just wanted everything to be back to normal. By the time it finally came I was imagining all sorts of things might be wrong with me. So, I hear you when you say you're feeling paranoid.

I was thinking about going to my doctor and would have done soon if it hadn't arrived that week. I think if you're really worried then speaking to your doctor may help.

Hope your not waiting too long hun. Sounds like it might be AF, my first one was much lighter than usual.
