i was just wondering if it is 'normal' that my baby feeds quite aggressively. he makes really loud grunting sounds and flails his arms about while searching for my nipple frantically if he he latches off.

thanks

Hi hun harley does this all the time and the sounds he makes is so funny, my mw said my milkj comes out very quick and that he is glugging it hence the noise.
xx

yep Fred has always fed like this!!! i give him a muzzi to hold with his free arm it calms him down a bit! xx

Totally normal they just lurveee it so much :)

Caine is rough too  tugging a bit at nipple when bored and full, scratching my boobs and chucking his arms about, mostly when tired and in a bad mood :dohh: bugger xx

Oh wow, just like Joe.You feel like it's just you when they're attacking you whilst feeding in the middle of the night. I think some times my milk comes out to fast and he chokes and gets cross, other times I feel like he's too lively to feed though he seems to want to. He grunts and gurgles to himself and scratches my boob too and tries to suck his fist which doesn't help, and then screams. Not great when you're knackered.
Glad we're not alone. Sometimes swaddling him helps, but could be a coincidence as he sometimes calms down by himself, all of a sudden. Confusing babies. Joe's 7 weeks old nearly.

mine does this too! i love you ladies you make me feel normal!!!
