Agnus Castus Extract.

I have PCOS.

Anyone here taken Agnus Castus Extract 1mg (500mg agnus castus) and it help regulate cycles and ovulated?

Anyone experienced side effects?

hi i had ovarian drilling on 9th july and started agnus castus just before i had this done, i think it was a bit to do with both but i ov 14 days later
i really do think the agnus castus played a part in it
it was the first time in years i have ov!, didnt take it this cycle for some silly reason and took soy instead and so far nothing and now on cd18!!!

i know soy is brilliant for some people but i am def going back to agnus castus next time

I also take agnus castus. The first month i took it i had all the symptoms of ovulation that i get very very rarely. I'm not sure if i actually ovulated as i don't chart or use OPK's yet but the symptoms were definately there.

I am starting Clomid next cycle. Does anyone know if i can take it with Clomid? xx

Bumski: Glad agnus castus made you ov. Hope mine does this cycle.
I've read that woman should steer clear from soya products as its a natural contraceptive as well as green peas.

Lisa84: I also hope it made you ovulate.
Im starting clomid next cycle too. You cant take agnus castus with any other hormone treatment. The guy in Holland and Barrett told me that.

I was wondering how you were getting on with Agnus Castus? I also have PCOS and have started taking it. I'm taking the Kira brand. I'm also taking EPO and Pegnacare Conception.

My friend also told me not to take any Soya products.

I'm really wanting to start AC as it's recommended in many places to help with endometriosis, but as far as I'm aware, I Ov every month and am worried it might mess this up?....

Bumski - when you said you can't take it with other hormone treatment, do you just mean Soy or Clomid etc?... x
