Well AF arrived this morn and SH*T did she come with avengence! It was the most horrific gutt wrenching pains ever, it almost made me throw up. Is it anything to worry about do you think? I've only ever had it prob once or twice before, its just really really painful, I honestly didnt no what to do with myself.

Luckily it faded after about an hour, but still? is it normal?

Hmmm, I always have super bad almost going to throw up pain every month except for some months just don't have pain  so like the reverse of you but anytime I told a Dr they just said that sometimes are cycles are a bit off from normal, whether good or bad.

Did you change anything this month? Not exercising as much? (that can lead to pretty pain-free periods) I also have learned that caffinated soda makes it a million times worse?

Thanks for the reply chick! Yeh im normally quite lucky, so cant complain but the pain this month was just wrong lol I guess yeh cycles can differ all the time. Love being a woman! :)

Dont think i've changed anything this month? very odd!

x

I get pretty bad cramps too. They arent as bad as they used to be. But yea in the past I have thrown up from the pain. No fun! Hopefully it was just a fluke for you and they wont be as bad.

I had a similar experience last month. As a teenager I used to suffer terribly with period pain, then last month I woke up one Saturday morning groaning with bad period pains. I took paracetamol, but the pain got steadily worse to the point of me walking round the house hunched over, to fetch a cold wet flannel and something to chuck up into (I didn't chuck up but felt I might) and got a mefanemic acid tablet from years back (only a year out of date though!) which had been prescribed for period pains. I rang OH at work to say I was ill and I honestly thought I'd have to go to hospital!!! I don't remember it being quite so bad as a teen, but maybe it was. Then this month, nothing more than 'niggles' which I took one of the big tablets for 'just in case' but it didn't amount to anything. Incidentally, that morning I also lived on the toilet for a while, having to poo 4 times in the space of a couple of hours! Hopefully all of this was nothing more than a blip in what has become my normal cycles. But it didn't half make me wish I could have 9 months off from periods!

Hey hope ur feeling better, mines started a couple of days ago I don't usually get painful periods but my god I felt as if my insides were going to fall out my bottom! It was even sore when i sat down.hot water bottle did the job though with a few painkillers! Anyway painful periods can be a sign of endometriosis im gettin a lap in a few weeks so ill find out if i have it,also endo can get into your bowels so again another sign, don't want to scare you girls but just thought i should let use know maybe read up on it although it could be nothin! Good to yous x

i've only had it twice i think, i did think about endo but when i was previously ttc i went to the gynae and they didnt feel the need for a lap, and said i showed no symptoms of endo, very bizarre as i've always wondered if I should of had a lap done, thanks ladies xx

I'm now thinking I have endo as I've just 'googled' and found it's likely to be hereditary and my mother had it.

Hey my last period was like that. I believe i actually used the phase 'i feel like i'm dying' to my husband. The pain was immense, it would make my hole body freeze with pain. I felt like I needed to puke and the amount of blood was ridiculous (I was having to change a pad every 2 hours as it was completely full). Having said that, it was a provera period, and I'm convinced that's what did it as I have never EVER suffered anythign like it before in my life!

Have you done anything different this month?
