Sending big hugs. So sorry you have had such a rough ride recently.
Wishing your hubby a speedy recovery.

Jo,
Hang in there! My brother had a stroke at 41 and my dad had one last month. Both are better now, my brother took a few months and effort from him to regain speech/swallowing and my dad? Well he didn't lose his physical speech it was part of his brain which controls speech, and he regained it 5 days later. If I had listened to the horror stories of long recovery I wd have bn beside myself, but since their recovery I've heard of so many other recoveries from relatively young stroke sufferers. The most common comment over heard from them is that sometimes it's your body's way of saying 'I need a wee rest'.

Sending you hugs & prayers for you, oh and future babies xxx

:hugs:

If it's any consolation, working in neuro for 6 years, I know that the younger someone is the better the recovery is from the stroke. It make take time and rehab but there is a lot of hope! :) Don't forget to take care of yourself. Sometimes you're given the carer role and forget that you need to take care of yourself to be able to function.

Didn't want to read and ditch especially on such a heavy subject, Just wanted to send many :hugs: wishing you guys speedy recovery!
