All you instead cup users, a bit of advice please

Well i used an instead cup for the first time last night and i was suprised at how easy they were to use, however i did have one issue. How do you get it in without having a spillage first (if you know what i mean)?
Sorry if this is tmi but as i moved to the edge of the bed to put it in, everything came pouring out. I need advice as to how to capture it all as i don't want anything going to waste!!

We use those occasionally, and it is best if you lay down I think. That is what I do.

I am using mine for the first time for keeping spermies on but I would lay on my back with my legs in the air and insert it, they are simple to put it. Good luck!

I used them for the first time this cycle too... I found that if i stayed lying down and inserted it so far and then sat on the edge of the bed at the end, then i got very little spillage. Mind you, when i took it out next morning, there wasn't much left in it. Not sure if I missed a lot of it when inserting it, or if a lot has gone where i hoped it would.

Fingers crossed they work for us all ...

I'm interested in trying these. How long do you leave them in for after BDing?

I left mine in last night all night you cant tell its in there and no spillage at all hey yor the same cd as me xox

I got DH to deposit his directly into the Instead Cup this morning then inserted it while laying on my back & didnt get any spillage at all

(I've previously tried inserting it after but was finding myself too worried about spillage & fretting that the Instead Cup was stopping some from getting to my cervix! and possibly reducing my chances )

You can leave them in for up to 12hrs hun x
