Allergic to formula?

Does anyone have any experience with this? My LO is almost 5 months and has been breast fed till now. I have given her formula as a top up twice before. Today I gave her her first full bottle of formula and it did not go well! She vomited most of it back up after a couple of mins, it came out like a fountain! Also where it had leaked on her chin her skin had gone bright red with white bumps, kind of like a nettle rash. I thought it was maybe where she had dribbled and it had gotten sore but then I noticed where a bit of sick had landed on her foot it also had the same rash. She seemed to be okay for the rest of the day thank goodness.I am going to take her to the doctors next week but wondered if anyone had experienced a similar thing?

my lo is the same - it doesn't happen than much now, more when we introduced formula, im not sure if its an allergic reaction though

i have posted about this before but didn't get a response so it can't be that common - i'd be interested in what your gp says - mine wasn't much help
