i've googled it, but i can't seem to get a straight forward opinion.
my allergies are making me MISERABLE.
and my dad bought me some Loratadine, which is a class B drug.
can i take it?

i've not heard of it before, but class B drug makes me think no. could you give your doctor a quick call and check? x

I'm also suffering from allergies!

The only thing my midwife allows me to take is benedryl. That's pretty widely the most accepted allergy drug to take during pregnancy. It will probably make you a little drowsy though!

benadryl is okay?
i don't mind about drowsy as long as it's okay for LO.

On my list of suitable drugs during pregnancy from the midwife Benadryl is the only one listed for allergies! You should be fine with it.

dont know if you can get it in the US or not but piriton is a-ok as well. its the first thing they recommend in the UK, actually i think its the only thing they recommend and we get benadryl here as well  xx

Pirotin, benadryl, claritin... all pretty safe...
if the allergies are stuffy nose and other flu like symptoms... it is really important to remember FLUIDS!! serious... dehydration happens so much easier when pregnant!

xx
