Please someone tell me what can I take through the first trimester!!! My hay fever is doing my head in, everyone is cutting grass for silage around me and my nose is going to town.

Ive been taking claritin, but just found out i was pregnant. i think Claritin is ok (just regular claritin, not the D kind)

I talked with my midwife before taking anything and she said I could use the Flixonase nasal spray. The Pharmacist gave me eye drops too. It really helped me and I was so happy to not be taking any pills.

Thanks for the site It doesn't recognise any NZ drugs.... drats!
I think I'm off to dr I just did a sinus rinse - but I think I have an ear infection too so it maybe antibiotics

Piriton (Chlorphenamine Maleate) can sometimes be used during pregnancy, but it's best to speak to your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking it. I don't think any antihistamines have been tested on pregnant women so none are deemed as 'safe'?
