Almost 40 weeks has anyone else got this?

The past 2 weeks I've been up to the hospital and doctors a few times convinced i have a water infection of some sort. It feels EXACTLY the same. I've had loads of the dip tests and they were all negative. I've had swabs for literally everything and they are all clear. And they sent a urine sample off which has also come back completely clear! Yet i feel like i have that annoying uncomfortable sore sensation in my urethra its really annoying me. Im weeing loads more aswel but thats most probably down to the baby having dropped alot lower. Has anyone else experienced this its so odd.and I've never had with my others! X

Yes! Yes! Yes! Does it almost feel like a pinging sensation sometimes?
I had it with my son real late on and this time from last week so 35 weeks.
Its like a real intense stinging but it comes and goes and usually when he moves a certain way it almost feels like he's pulling it or something (yuk i know).

Been peeing loads and found out today he's head down but not engaged so he's starting to nuzzle down there, maybe your little one has moved down and is getting themselves ready?

Either way i hope your out of your misery soon with you beautiful baby in your arms x

Do you have varicose veins? I have one on my leg that reaches right up into my vagina and at first I couldn’t figure out if it was a urine infection or thrush. I eventually took a mirror down there to see what was bothering me and turned out to be that. Feels like a heavy, pressure almost (not like baby pressure though!) just general uncomfortableness and I was peeing a lot anyway coz of baby.

Thanks.for your reply I'm glad its not just me lol its so bizarre and like i said before I've never experienced this with my other babies! Be interesting to see if this one actually does come by himself if he's that low down, my other 3 were all induced! X

While I was pregnant I had a thrush infection but just around the urethra. The pharmacist told me to put canestan around the urethra and just inside the vagina to stop it spreading.
