What is your view on this....all 3 of my bridesmaids were all measured last year, they have all since had babies so hence been on a diet and have all lost weight so the dress needs taking in etc..it will cost £35 per alteration!! One of them has offered to pay, but i feel so awful !! The other 2 havent mentioned about paying! This may be a touchy subject  Do you think I should pay or them?????

hey! i was bridesmaid for my friend and had to get my dress altered as did the other bridesmaids...i ended up paying for mine even though she paid for the others which i thought was a bit odd as i didnt offer she basically told me i was. you could always ask for a contribution from the other 2, or let them know in a nicer way than i was lol - although im paying for all my bridesmaids alterations but thats because i want to. my dress alterations came to over £100 (it was a very detailed dress!!!) and ended up not being able to afford giving her a wedding present because of it!!!!!!!!

I would say they should maybe pay or contribute towards it...
do your bridesmaids know each other? Could the one who offered mention to other two that she has, maybe spur them on to offer as well? makes it easier than asking them outright :)

Is £35 per alteration expensive? It really seems it to me, I've yet to get to that bit!
Could you not get a quote from somewhere else?
