Hi, just wanted to see...I have heard that it takes a good year sometimes for cycles to normalize after having a baby, but wanted to get some other opinions from ladies who've been there.

Pre-baby, I didn't exactly have regular cycles - they ranged from 29-33 days in length. Post-baby, still not regular but it's like they're shortened by about four days - now they range from 25-30 days.

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced changes like this post-baby, and whether it was permanent. I'm officially trying for #2 starting this month and it's throwing me off, lol. Thanks!

Before my first, my cycles weren't regular at all. Some months I didn't even have a period. I wasn't paying much attention to cycle days (it was 13 years ago!). But since then my periods have been pretty regular and now I'm between 29-31 days. I think your body is always changing. I heard every 7 years or so a woman goes through a lot of changes? I'm not sure how accurate that is. But having a baby definitely changes things, in my experience. I think what you're going through is pretty normal, but I only know from my own experiences like I said :)

I had between 45 and 65 day cycles before my daughter. Now i seem to be on 30 day cycles, so hoping it stays like this as we are ttc baby number 2 x
