Guys-

Quick question. So today I was at the grocery and walked past the pregnancy test aisle and even though I'm 8 weeks pregnant, I thought "I'm going to take a test, to make sure everything is ok." I'm still having symptoms, but I'm just a worrier. Anyway I went home and tested, needless to say that test came out positive, like it should. BUT the pregnant line (not the control line) was a little fainter than my first test was (the one I took 4 weeks ago). This seems odd to me, because my HCG levels should be higher and register more right now. Wouldn't the line be darker and not fainter? Or am I just reading way too much into this? Any advice will help. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday for my first natal visit.

My tests were never the same plus you've tested in the middle of the day, diluted water etc.

:D

I also had to make sure once after I originally tested.

I know the feeling.

I never did a second one. Im still too afraid the first was wrong haha. The doctor confirmed it though.

If something like that happened to me, I would have freaked out too but don't worry, I'm sure everything is fine! You aren't going mad!

Unless you have had sever spotting/bleeding and cramping everything should be fine. Like Wobbles said, your urine may be a bit diluted mid day.

Try not to worry, I know easier said than done :)

I took 3 tests and then the one at the doc's...I wanna take another one.

Well....I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who likes to test and retest. Ha ha! I think we're all a little bit crazy! ;)

I don't think ya'll are crazy, it's just so fantastic seeing that BFP.

we've all done it ---although most of us probably didnt retest after the doc did since they test every month
