Hello all
Im 23 weeks plus 2 days and im preparing for the future at the moment and just want to make sure i havent missed anything. Im staying at my parents at the moment with OH and baby when hes here
Im awaiting on the councils decision as weather to put us down as priority or gold plus status.
Now my partner earns 250 a week , which rules us out for income support and i cannot claim jobseekers at the moment either.
But from september (when baby will be here and im going back to college)
We should be able to claim ;
Child benefit ; 20 a week
Working tax credits ; 2323.58 a year
child tax credit ; 3249.19 a year
ALG ; 30 a week
Then the sure start maternity grant as we are eligible for a element higher than basic in child tax credit. This should give us approx . 157 a week .
Am i right ? could someone tell me if i missed anything
I used the HMRC website to determine amounts , im also not eligible for childcare help , but hopefully my college are looking at paying for one day a week and he will only be there two

This should help in keeping whatever council property we have and enable me to go to university and get a smart car (the reason for this is my car is a 1.4 but spacious enough for me and baby but alot of fuel before i go to aston university.) Im not moving local to Aston so would cost too much in fuel in my car , so looking at getting a second hand smart car by next year . However ive seen second hand ones around 2000 , ive sold two of my four horses recently so already have a good amount towards it
