Dd is just over 3weeks old, the last few days she has been really hungry(screaming until she gets a bottle) ill make a bottle up and she will maybe drink 2 or 3 oz then take the rest an hour or so later,then an hour or so after that she will be looking another feed. She is getting 5oz in each bottle and normally drains them. Is she eating too much or is this normal newborn behaviour. The last few nights she has been getting a feed around 11/1130pm which she usually finishes or leaves about 1/ 1 1/2 oz,she has then been sleeping till 3/330am, gets a feed but usually only takes 2/3oz &she doesnt waken again till 6/645 for another feed which she normally finishes within 2 hrs. Im wondering if she is eating loads during the day to make up for not eating much during the night?? Though if shes out in pram or car she will easily go 3/4hrs between feeds as she sleeps alot when out. Is she just greedy?
