Am I pregnant?

I desperatley need advice girls!

I am still having brown discharge, but no fresh bleeding. I am 14 days post EC, and 9 days post transfer. I gave my self the HcG shot on the 4th January, 16 days ago.

This morning I did an early response HPT with my first urine of the day, and it has a faint line on it. I then did a boots cheapie and internet cheapie, both negative.

Then, this afternoon I did a clearblue digital, which was negative, then I did an early response again, and got the same faint line as this morning.

I don't know what to think. I am thinking is it still the HcG shot from the 4th being picked up? I did do an internet cheapie over the weekend and it was negative, so assumed the shot was out of my system. I am also having the brown stuff which is so normal for me just before my period.

Please advise!!

if you were getting negs inbetween, then its certainly possible! can you get a beta hcg blood test? if not, give it two more days and give it another try... fingers crossed hon

I can't beleive that the hcg would still be there... I would wait a couple of days to test again. I have found that first response are the best... so good luck! I hope it is a positive!!!!

they say that after 12 days the hcg should already be out of your system. Go to the dr. and get a beta test to confirm.. and if its confirmed then...... CONGRATS!

If it's any help I spoke to our fertility nurse yesterday to ask if my HCG shot would still be in my system from 6th January and she said there was no way it would be. I'd maybe see if you could get a blood test.

Thanks for all you replies. I had my HCG levels tested yesterday (is that the same as a Beta?), and my levels are 18. I have read on the internet that anything under 5 is negative, and anything from 5-25 is unequivical (sp), and should be repeated in 48 hours to hopefully see an upward trend.

I poas this morning and got a line that was fainter than yesterdays line. Yesterday I had not pee'd for about 7 hours, while today it was only about 4 and a half (woke up desperate to wee). Would that efffect the darkness of the line? Would there have been more hormone in my bladder after the longer period of time, hence the darker line?

The stronger your urine and the longer you have not been for will mean more concentrated levels of hcg. Are you having a blood test done tomorrow?

I might wait until sunday to give the HCG time to hopefully double. I sent yesterdays test off about 7pm. Thats promising about the unrine thing, so a fainter line today isn't necessarily a bad thing?
