Am I wrong

I have court Tuesday with DS1 dad and was upset he still hasn't provided me with his financial info even though I served him with papers or it 3 months ago . My mom told me basically to get over it since I'm not taking DS2 dad for child support I should suck it up and take whatever he gives. And that since I went to court for one I should for the other

I think she's wrong . Ds2 dad pays for EVerything that he needs and gives me money when I need it no questions Asked . He buys his diapers wipe medication and he sends me money to pay for the storage unit that has some of his stuf in it and all my furniture since I'm staying with family right now and buys things for my older son too.Basically he sends me more money then he would use to give in child support and he comes to see both boys 4 dys a week.

My older sons dad only drops in ocassionally and avoids his child support until they force him to pay.

So am I wrong for not taking the other dad to court too?

If your FOB2 is fulfilling all his obligations and paying you an amount of child support that you both agree on, then there's no need to take him to court. There's no dispute.

Your FOB1 is trying to avoid his duties and get out of paying, so there's nothing wrong with taking legal action with him. In my opinion

I don't think there's any need to try and get child support off fob2 cos he's already providing which is more than most men. I told my baby's dad that I don't want his money I want him to provide for him and every week he buys his nappies, milk, wipes and anything he needs basically so were both happy with this and this way he could never say that I don't spend the money on my son if he gave me cash. From what uve said he seems a bit like my baby's dad and has his priorities right so no need to change that imo
