Anyone else use them and have good feedback for them?

LO is now 15 months (well a year corrected) and although I heard of them I never looked into it.

She just cut a top front tooth with another on the way and even with having calpol before bed she was waking when we went to bed and then again at about 4 am

So I thought well I might as well try one. Bought one off a good seller off ebay it arrived the next morning.

No calpol before bed, she slept right through to 8am! Same for the next few nights.

Then she had a bad night and in the morning I realised the necklace had been left at grannys after her bath! Granny forgot to bring the necklace that day so we had another bad night.

Got the necklace back on and she has been fine! Now I am not saying its a miracle necklace or anything but it certainly seems to work!

Poppy wears an anklet, we never takes it off now. Definately noticed she's less drooly and her cheeks are ref not so red, she's been teething since 2 months.
Imo they're fab :)

Erin is cutting her first tooth atm and has a necklace. I notice a massive difference when she is not wearing it!!! When it is on, we don't have much dribble, no creaming, crying or screeching and no red cheeks. She doesn't wear it at night, but I use Ashton and Parsons powders. She wakes maybe twice a night to be resettled, but I don't know if that it teething or not - she has never STTN without waking. These wakings are only short so don't really count them :haha: She still pulls at her gums and ears, but there seems to be no pain with it.

Lo has had a teething anklet on for 2 days now. Seen a bit of an improvement but still time to improve i suppose. I bought mine from dino daisy's. Just google it x

My LO has an anklet!! I love it & it definatly works!! She has it on 24/7 including bath & bed! Xxx

Can you give me the link of the person/place u bought it from? :)

https://www.dinodaisy.co.uk/ I got mine from this lovely lady!

I've just bought a necklace for my little dude from amazon so hopefully it works and he won't feel to much discomfort :(

My LO was in a lot of discomfort when teething, but since putting the amber necklace on he's been pretty much symptom free. I actually can't believe how great this thing is! We've not had to use any bonjela since he started wearing it, and he's so much more settled. Maybe not a miracle necklace, but pretty darn good! We bought ours from amber pumpkin.

I love them!

My DD is a completely happier girl with her necklace on!

I put Violets necklace on last Monday and she has slept through the night since Tuesday! :) she was waking a few times between 4am and 7am to be resettled so this is a MASSIVE improvement! :) :) :) (btw she only wears it during the day)

I am FUMING!!!!

MIL had the kids last night and we got there for dinner today and I see her necklace on the side. I picked it up and said ''she needs to have this on'' and put it back on her.
MIL said she doesnt like it on when she has her and she 'slept fine' (except she woke up crying at 5am, so no, she didnt sleep 'fine')

I said she cant hurt herself on it she doesnt know it is there as she cant see it. MIL said she is just cautious.

WTF my mum said something like that too when she was here, I can't believe people would think I would do something that could harm my baby!!!

So poor LO had to go to bed without any teething help as I had packed bonjella but MIL didnt put any on, and by this evening she was hyserical and didnt want to eat her tea and had porridge instead because eating the tea was hurting her poor mouth.
She went to bed when she got home after having the necklace back on for 2 hours and she whinged for about half an hour and is now fast asleep, thankfully.

Next time MIL wants the kids I am going to tell her only if she doesnt take off her necklace. MY daughter MY decisions I still can't believe she would accuse me (in not so many words) of doing something that LO could hurt herself with!!!!

There is absolutely no scientific evidence supporting the use of amber as 'folk medicine' to aid in any form of healing. Placing a fossilised lump of tree sap close to the skin cannot leach any properties into the body. Its exactly the same as people believing in crystal healing! However, if by coincidence it seems to work then great!

My cold, hard logical mind agrees with this. However, once I'd experienced witnessing my baby suffer through 8 months of serious teething symptoms, none of which were sufficiently diminished by any over the counter treatments, I was willing to try anything. It may just be a conincidence, but his symptoms have all but disappeared since wearing the necklace. Go figure....

And there is some evidence that amber can act as an analgesic, though the amount is tiny. My thought process was that I'd give it a try, and if it didn't work, then no harm done...he'd still be experiencing teething pain. If it did work, however, awesome!

yep same for me buddyIV

I dont need more people telling me its ''just a fad'' or a load of old rubbish, my HV gets my back up with that enough! haha
It works for me.

And I have just been given a bashing on another forum I use for being annoyed at MIL for taking it off! Grrr don't know why I bother with people sometimes.

LO is not going to MILs again until she is through these two teeth. And I will be telling her that is why.

Definitely will remember this for when Charlie starts teething, thanks x

Evan has worn one since he was about 4 months old. He cut his first tooth just 3 weeks ago, but he has never been a dribbler, never had red cheeks and never particularly suffered. He doesn't sttn but never has! I didn''t know he cut his first tooth until it was well and truely through. He doesn't let me look :haha: Looking back his only teething sign was he severly went off his milk for about 2 weeks x
