Wife, Mummy and pregnant!

So happy to finally have my little girl here, I thought I'd share my experience having her =)
All started on Wednesday 21st. Wednesday evening I had REALLY bad tummy pains and back pains and tried to sleep. From about 10 pm to about midnight the pains were every 5 mins lasting about 20 seconds.
Then from midnight till 7 when I called hospital they were every 3 mins lasting a minute.
Went to hospital and was told "No you're not having contractions, it's a UTI"
So they tested my urine, and then did an exam. I was then told I as 2cm dilated and they were gonna keep me in to induce me the next day (friday) because of reduced movements.
Thursday night I was in agony from the start of the night. Got put into the bath, got given a shot of Pethadin to try and sleep, then at 4 they examined me, said I was 6 cm and to call my OH in. Apparently she wasn't up for waiting for an induction!
He came in, and we were taken to delivery.
I sucked happily on my gas and air...and then screamed the place down a few times. I honestly thought my bum was gonna fall off.
It got to the point where I felt I HAD to push but she said I still had a bit of cervix waiting to go before I could. I got on my knees to make it go, then she examined me again and I got
"Right, you're done, come on, get this baby out now hon!"
I pushed about 4-5 times for a grand total of about 40 minutes and about 20 hundred "I CAN'T DO IT MAKE IT STOP!"s and out popped our little bean at 16:40, on the 23rd or April, weighing 6lbs and 14 oz (WAYYY less than the over 8lbs they predicted she would!!) =)
So proud of her, so amazed. Was a bit jumpy at first. She wouldn't stop crying when I was in overnight last night so at 4am the midwife took her for a walk to try and calm her and at 7 I woke up and she wasn't back...
I screamed blue murder.
