American ladies....what's your favourite candy/snacks?

I say this in every post about Canada/U.S but I go to Vancouver every 2 years and if it weren't completely disgusting then I would eat nothing but fudgsicles and hot gooey cinnamon buns.

Also this isn't candy but ARIZONA ICED TEA. Specifically the blueberry green tea flavour. You can buy it in the U.K but it costs like 5 fucking quid a bottle. Crying forever.

Oooh I love this tea, the pomegranite one is my fav :cloud9:

I gotta say I personally don't think American sweets/choclate can compare to UK stuff, it just tastes like a cheaper version.

BUT they're pastries, deserts, cakes and pies are far, far superior and I would make the trip purely to eat them, lol!!!!

I agree, I actually think Hersheys is kind of gross! But seriously why do so many damn cafes in Vancouver have huge signs saying 'hot gooey cinnamon rolls'? How is anyone meant to stay under 400lbs while living there?!

Completely agree, out of all the sweets, any wonka product is my favourite! :D

This thread is giving me a sweet tooth...well sweetER tooth! :dohh:

Butterfingers... Yummy... Milky way simply caramel are lush too, but I do miss proper English cadburys...

The Hershey's aerated are pretty good...lighter than the regular Hershey's

You can get Reeses in most shops! Not worth getting them online :D

I had jelly bean soda, it was cherry, bright red & tasted like heaven  oh & the hot fudge sundae poptarts are lush!

I think Hershey's tastes like sick! xxx

Oh & English sweets, wispa is probably my favourite! Or just plain ol' galaxy & chewitts or blackjacks! Haven't had either in years! Reminds me of being 10!

xxx

I like the extra creamy hersheys.
English chocolate is tastier though.
Soooo going to ordering off this site!

There's a cinnabon in London, next time we go I am sooo heading straight there. They look so yummy!!!!

cinnabon is awesome!

The only English chocolate I've had is Crunchie and Flakey. Godiva and Dove are really good chocolate too. But Godiva is quite expensive.

Whats Godiva?

I think Dove is Galaxy and that is lovely, but never heard of the other

To be honest, a lot of the things you can now get in supermarkets! Asda have tootsie rolls, hershey kisses and a few more hershey things. They also have Ruffles and more pop tart flavours. Morrisons has Nutragious and peanut butter cups.

The cereal and the crisps are harder to find in the UK though. Last time i ordered from American Soda, i got a box of captain crunch and Crunchy Cheetos.

I much prefer an American McChicken or a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket. Things actually have flavour!

I love Reece's Pieces and Reece's mini Buttercups  but you can buy them here. Me and my sister practically bolted into the Hershey World shop in New York thinking it would all be lovely but the chocolate was horrible

Lucky Charms are sooo amazing! Well worth the £8 a box! And a Babe Ruth *salivate*

I think its an acquired taste. When i first went to America i didnt like it. But i wanted chocolate and that was what i was going to get! I eat it now and i dont mind it. Still, theres nothing like Cadburys :winkwink:
