Hello,
we got out NT and blood test results back and I have a 1:30 risk of having a baby with down syndrome. The genetic counselor offered the panorama blood test but said it would take about 10 days to get back and then if it came back positive I would still need an amnio to confirm so all said and done we would be looking at a month to get a final yes or no for downs. I would be 18 weeks then and would rather know sooner than later as we will not continue the pregnancy. She scheduled an amnio for Thursday and I will only be 14 weeks and 4 days? Everything I have read said its not even possible to do it that early and in studies they found those who did it earlier than 15 weeks had club foot?
Has anyone had an early amnio that they can share their experiences with me? thank you.
