it reminds me of scooby doo sorry not my style

im not keen sorry it reminds me of neighbours, although i like gwizz idea of teaming it wih another name

I'd like it if it wasnt for that woman that wins allt he quiz shows on Eggheads called Daphne something, she's a right old know it all

I think the name is ok. Don't be too scared to mention it too your OH if you love that name he may consider it and if you don't suggest it then you may lose out.

lol that made me laugh, I know the one you mean she is so smug! (That and the italian looking guy with the dark hair aaaagh!

I am not keen on it either. Reminds me of scooby doo's daphne and to me she was an airhead :( sorry

I have the same problem - I totally love the name Mabel but Hubby is convinced it is a granny name (and not in a good way)

daphne is a greek goddess name though, which makes it cool by definition, I reckon!

I think it's very cute. Makes me think of the Daphne in Frasier, which isn't a bad thing.
Good luck with your OH!

I didn't think of scooby doo straight away ...lol... for some reason i nstantly thought of daphne from "fraiser" ..

but i agree it sounds much better with another name....daphne may ... for example xx

It makes me think 'daffy duck'..

I actually prefer Daffodil to Daphne, but that's a bit different.
