Anal abscess.

Just thought I would update, it's still there and growing very slowly. The GP doesn't seem too concerned, I need to ring the hospital tomorrow for an appointment with the paediatric surgeon. It seems to be a bit of a wait for appointments, the soonest the GP could book was mid May and that's in a hospital in another town that would be 1.5 hours by bus. So she just gave me the number to call to book it myself at the hospital in this city. She said I could go in straight away that day but she said why waste a whole day of the sunshine in hospital when it's growing so slowly and causing no pain. I agree, if it gets worse in the meantime of course I'll go back and she can refer me to be seen that day, but otherwise I just need to keep an eye on it and be patient waiting.
