Hi hun. The first time i had heard there was a baby anbesol was on BnB. I could only find the adult ones in my Boots and Superdrug but i have found the teething one in two local chemists.
It's fab. I have even used it on myself with good effect!
It is different to gel though. It is a liquid. I soak a cotton bud in the solution and then rub the gums with it. It cost me nearly £5 but it lasts ten time longer the gel tubes!
We use this and calpol (not both at the same time lol) and it's great. I remember my mum used to have some in the house when i lived there. I'm sure the "baby anbesol" is the same as the adult one but don't quote me on that. I bought some for about £3 in the co-op pharmacy. The bottles tiny but it lasts a while.
Another fan here, it's great! I just asked for it at boots and I don't know if it's specifically for babies as it says things like mouth ulcers on the packet, but it also says for teething pain so I think it's all the same x
I was wondering the same. Was actually just talking bout it yesterday
I've used it when I split my tooth and had nerves exposed. Ouch. So id assume it would work for babies
for Charlie I think it works better than anything else. When hes teething I put that on before a nap and he goes right to sleep, without it he screams......
Its fab! We've just starting using the liquid after reading about it on here and trying a number of different gels and powders with no success. Its really easy to apply too x
