Just wanted to say that the £50 odd quid we spent on our Angel Care movement monitor is SO worth it and I wouldnt be without it.

Violet can be quite quiet when she sleeps in her moses basket and for the first couple of nights before I set it the monitor up I kept getting up to give her a little poke, touch her or make sure she was still breathing! :baby:

I set up the monitor and now I dont have to give it a 2nd thought - theres a little 'bleep' noise that you can either have on constantly or you can switch it off and just have a flashing light to show that its working fine and then an alarm will sound if (God forbid) anything happened to LO or if you take baby out of the cot without turning it off!

Its total peace of mind and I would recommend the movement monitor to anyone and everyone. We can sit watching tv downstairs while she is in our room in her moses basket and know that she is safe and sound while she sleeps. :flower:

P.S. The other thing I wouldnt be without is my Playtex girdle (pants and tummy girdle all in one) to support my de-creasing bump. Its absolutely fantastic and my tummy is getting flatter every day! :happydance: (and I had a 9lb baby and a MASSIVE bump!)

I was thinking of getting one of those! Thanks for the tip!

I'm so glad you posted this! :flower: My DH and I are thinking of getting one and he has been reading reviews of it online. One of them mentioned about constant beeping and we were a bit concerned. Now I know that it's just that reviewer being a bit dumb and not turning the sound off!

Very relieved - off to order one

Thanks for this, I bought this monitor a couple of weeks ago and was concerned about whether I could use it in the moses but it seems I can so I am a happy bunny!

I've got an angelcare monitor already from when my son was tiny...but I didn't know about playtex girdle so will be making a purchase - thank you!
